Natural Gas & Propane Conversion

Fuel conversion must be manufacturer-approved.

A gas appliance is not safely converted just by changing one orifice. The exact listed appliance, approved kit, pressure setting, labeling and instructions matter.

NG to LP and LP to NG

Search terms such as natural gas to propane, propane to natural gas, NG to LP, LP to NG, conversion kit, pilot orifice, burner orifice, regulator conversion and pressure setting all describe parts of the conversion topic. They do not mean every appliance can be converted.

When conversion should be advertised

Pinnacle’s SEO bank specifically limits conversion advertising to appliances that are listed for conversion and where the correct manufacturer-approved kit, orifices, regulator setting, labeling and instructions are available.

Common conversion questions

  • Can gas logs be converted to propane?
  • Can propane gas logs be converted to natural gas?
  • Can a gas fireplace be converted from propane to natural gas?
  • Can a gas range be converted to LP?
  • Why is the flame too high after conversion?
  • Why is there soot after a propane conversion?

Rating plate first

Text the complete rating plate and any existing conversion labels. Pinnacle should verify the exact model and manufacturer documentation before committing to conversion work.

Request service

Tell us what the appliance or gas system is doing.
