Licensed fuel piping is the core scope
Pinnacle Energy & Comfort holds North Carolina Fuel Piping Contractor License L.34415. Projects are evaluated based on fuel type, connected load, equipment requirements, existing piping, route, access, regulators, pressure, project documents and the actual construction conditions.
Residential and commercial project types
Residential
Fireplaces, gas logs, ranges, dryers, water heaters, tankless equipment, outdoor kitchens, grills, fire features, pool heaters, generators and multiple-appliance projects.
Commercial
Generator fuel piping, equipment connections, building gas-piping projects, plan-based bids, additions, relocations and other fuel-piping scopes that fit the licensed work.
Generator fuel-gas piping — all project sizes
Pinnacle evaluates generator fuel-piping work for residential and commercial projects, including new generator installations, replacements, increased connected load and existing systems where gas supply needs to be reviewed. Proper sizing depends on fuel type, generator input, delivery pressure, distance, other connected appliances, regulators and the manufacturer's requirements.

New construction, remodels and existing buildings
Some projects can be bid directly from complete construction documents. Others—especially remodels and existing-condition work—may need a site review to understand routing, access, existing pipe size, meter or regulator conditions, appliance locations or constructability. Builders and contractors can start a bid request here.
Natural gas and propane/LP
Fuel type matters. Appliance configuration, regulators, delivery pressure, orifices and available gas capacity are not interchangeable just because both fuels are commonly called “gas.” Tell Pinnacle which fuel is available and provide appliance input ratings whenever possible.
Gas system testing and existing-condition evaluation
Pinnacle also offers scheduled gas-system testing for homeowner knowledge, real-estate transactions and property evaluation. Standard testing focuses on customer-side systems operating at 2 PSI and below for natural gas and propane, with higher-pressure propane testing separately scoped. Learn about scheduled gas system testing.
Project information that improves the first conversation
- Project address and whether it is residential or commercial.
- Natural gas or propane/LP.
- Appliance or equipment input ratings.
- Photos of existing piping, shutoffs, regulators and proposed equipment locations where safely accessible.
- Plans, appliance schedules, specifications and addenda for construction bids.
- Bid due date and anticipated construction schedule.
Clear scope before work begins
Pinnacle will identify what is included, whether site verification is appropriate, and whether utilities, excavation, permits, electrical work or other trades are needed. Electrical installation and transfer-switch work for generators are not represented as Pinnacle fuel-piping services and should be performed by the appropriately licensed electrical contractor.
