Generator Sales, Service & Fuel Piping.

Standby generator project support with generator sales, residential Generac and Kohler air-cooled service, and natural-gas or propane fuel piping for residential and commercial installations.

Standby generator sales

Pinnacle can help with standby-generator equipment sales and project planning based on the application, fuel, available gas supply and project scope. Equipment selection should be based on the actual electrical load and installation requirements rather than a generic size recommendation.

Generator fuel piping — residential and commercial

Fuel-gas piping is available for generator projects of many sizes. Pinnacle can evaluate natural-gas or propane supply requirements, piping size, distance, connected building load, regulators and operating pressure within the licensed fuel-piping scope. Commercial and plan-based generator piping bids are welcome.

When an existing building is adding a generator, the generator's fuel demand cannot be considered by itself. The existing appliances, available pressure, meter/regulator arrangement and total connected load can determine whether the current gas system is adequate.

Residential air-cooled service

Routine residential air-cooled generator service remains focused on Generac and Kohler Home Energy (Rehlko) equipment. Depending on the exact model and service interval, maintenance can include normal engine-service items, battery-condition review, inspection and operational checks. Fuel-side troubleshooting can include customer-owned gas-piping and supply concerns within the licensed scope.

Fuel-side problems can look like generator problems

A generator may start, run poorly, fail under load or shut down when the available gas supply does not match the equipment requirements. Diagnosis can require looking at both the generator and the fuel system rather than replacing generator parts first.

Electrical and transfer-switch scope

Pinnacle does not represent generator electrical installation, transfer-switch work or other electrical scope as fuel-piping work. Electrical portions of a generator project should be performed by the appropriately licensed electrical contractor. Pinnacle can coordinate its fuel-piping scope around the project schedule and required trades.

Builder and commercial projects

General contractors, builders, developers and project managers can request plan-based pricing for generator fuel piping. Complete plans, equipment schedules, generator fuel-input data and bid due dates make pricing more reliable. Site visits are available when field conditions need to be reviewed; travel compensation may apply and will be agreed upon before the visit.
